As a huge fan of local history, I’d like to dedicate a page of my website to the local history of the Spen Valley. This area means a lot to me as it is my home but also represents an area my ancestors have lived in for generations.
I aim to share everything that I come across over my time researching.
I plan to complete transcribing the “Their Finest Hour” book in the next month or so, which will be my first major project. The Royal Navy section is available already now.
